This is truly sickening
A couple, expecting a child, has posted a website where they are asking people to vote if they should keep the baby or not. At first, I thought this was a hoax (still kind of leaning on that assertion even now) but then I heard this from the mother-to-be:
I’m not sure how anyone can hinge the life of their child on a vote. If you ever doubted that life is not deemed as sacred anymore just visit the website. I’m not sure if I’m doing the right thing by posting the website here but I figure you can have a look at it if you want.
I don’t want to say too much because I’m pretty upset right now (and I read that article about the Abortion Dilemma in the Toronto Star that I hope to blog about sometime this week) but I hope the child is born and these parents get some help. One post discussed how the poll was being skewed by another website. When polls mean more to someone than a child there is something wrong.
PS. My friend, who introduced me to this site mentioned how a lot of comments were very hateful. If someone wanted to post a charitable comment to show anyone who is viewing that site that pro-lifers are not hateful that would be great. At least some good may come from this madness.
Wow. This is unreal. Why would you leave such an important “choice” to the public?
