Lakehead Life Support Gets Clubs Status Back
Well, so much for Josh Kolic’s personal campaign against pro-lifers at Lakehead—LUSU voted 9-5 to give them club status:
The issue that has distracted and divided LUSU’s board of directors for months has finally been resolved – again. Life Support, a group that campaigns against abortion (as well as addressing euthanasia, suicide, and a handful of other issues), was granted club status in a vote of 9-5, with 3 abstentions. The motion specified that the club will not receive any funding.
I’m not sure about the lack of funding part though. Did they receive funding before this latest drama? If so, what’s the rationale for removing it?
Even if the funding issue lingers, this is a big step in the right direction.
